Rival Crock Pot Lid |
|
All slow cookers come equipped with a
lid, usually a glass transparent lid that fits perfectly on the edge of
the pot. |
|
This cover is essential to the process
of slow cooking. It keeps moisture in the crockpot from escaping, therefore
keeping the food inside from drying out after long periods of cooking.
If your Rival crock pot lid has been broken or chipped, or if it has been
lost, a replacement is needed for proper use of your crockpot. Fortunately
it is possible to find Rival replacement parts such as plastic knobs and
yes, replacement lids. They are not necessarily easy to find since Rival
sometimes has particular parts available, and sometimes not. If you are
looking for a Rival crock pot lid, make sure you know the exact model
needed. The most accurate way of finding this out is by knowing the cooker’s
model number. This is usually found at the bottom of the crock pot itself.
Failing this, you may go by the capacity of the slow cooker (4 quart,
5 quart, etc…). Finally, if all else fails you can go with the diameter
of the lid. Note however, that this is the least accurate way of getting
a replacement lid, as some lids may have similar diameters, but still
be intended for use with certain Rival models. |
